Block Island is a magical place and perfect for a coastal destination affair. Thinking of having a small intimate wedding, family reunion, or just getting all the friends together? The Avonlea, Jewel of the Sea has 10 guest rooms accommodating up to 23 guests. Overflow is available in our other buildings. The property is available to fill with your intimate group of up to 50 guests for a special event on the beach.

Join us for our annual Family Thanksgiving Celebration Weekend. It's a time honored tradition dating back to 1992 where we gather around the table with our guests to share a gourmet Thanksgiving meal and a weekend filled with seasonal activities & treats.

Event fees start at $500 during our off season, and go up depending on the type of event, number of people and staffing involved.
We have access to a private chef, provide tables/chairs, linens, plates, silverwear and stemware.
We will help decorate and will provide you with a party planner to help you organize your special event!
Past events include: birthday parties, girls getaways, anniversary dinners and weddings.
