Easter Brunch at Our Hotel:
Celebrate with your Island family at the Blue Dory Inn! We invite you to join us, whether you are solo, bring your family along, come with friends, or fur babies. All are welcome to join us and the event is made to be exciting for all ages. We start the night before, March 30, with coloring Easter eggs in the Blue Dory bistro. We provide eggs and coloring using a couple different techniques. We encourage you to share your unique talents with others.
Wake up Easter morning on Block Island were we celebrate with brunch! Coffee is available early, and then brunch is from 8-11 am. From decadent brunch classics to homemade pasties, our talented chef, Brian Rusin, has curated our best breakfast of the year. Delight in a sumptuous array of gourmet delights, including freshly baked pastries, savory omelets, fresh fruits and bottomless mimosas. No Easter celebration would be complete without an Easter egg hunt for all the children. If the weather is cooperative, we hide eggs in the Blue Dory garden for the children to find right after brunch has ended. Not bringing children with you? Don’t worry, there is a special treat for the adults also!
Beyond Brunch: Exploring Block Island’s March Peacefulness
To enjoy our Easter Brunch, it will require a stay at least the night of March 30th. Spend the evenings at a local watering hole, Old Island Pub or Club Soda, or enjoying a delicious meal at the Barn at Spring House or McAloon’s. After Brunch, leave your bags with us and embark on a journey of discovery and exploration across Block Island. Take a leisurely stroll down the beach or a scenic bike ride to one of the Lighthouses. Trails are open to find the Glass Floats that are still waiting to be found.
If we are lucky, the daffodils will have bloomed by then, so a trip to Clayhead trail will be rewarded with the sunny yellow flowers that signal spring is here! The Block Island Chamber of Commerce will have a complete list of store and restaurant openings as we get closer to spring to assist in planning your stay outside of the holiday festivities.
